Working with job seekers from the Message Trust Job Readiness Programme. Focusing on transforming toxic masculinities, restoring dignity and personal transformation for Message Trust Job Readiness Programme (2024).
Reintegration Programme
In partnership with RESTORE we piloted the trauma informed reintegration programme for male ex-offenders as part of their rehabilitation (2024)
Women's Healing and Transformation Programme
Working with vulnerable women from Cape Flats addressing healing from trauma, harmful gender norms and violence (2023)
Restorative Justice Programme
In collaboration with RESTORE at Pollsmoor Medium B with young men 18-24 (2023-2024). Working with yuveniles from disadvantaged communities and gangs integrating a trauma informed and gender transformative approach in restorative justice.

Our pionner group of women in Manenberg (2022-2023). Focusing on trauma arising from personal experience, community conflict and ongoing violence in Manenberg.
Social Entrepreneurship
Raising funds through thrift markets in 2024 and donations from Integral Yoga (our founder Melanie Lue's yoga studio as part of its SEVA Project) as proceeds from selling yoga bags made by SIDE BY SIDE WOMENS EMPOWERMENT PROJECT. All proceeds went to GROUND UP COLLECTIVE's programme beneficiariesto pay for venues, materials and transport for beneficiaries to attend programmes.
