Melanie Lue (founder and managing director) has worked in the social justice sector for over 30 years. She holds a BA LLB degree from UKZN, is a qualified yoga instructor,  community art facilitator and healing circle host. 

 

Melanie develops and delivers integrated healing, transformation and empowerment programmes applying different methodologies such as creative art therapy, yoga and story telling.  Applying trauma informed, gender transformative and  intersectional approaches,  she collaborates with other practitioners.

 

Melanie also consults in her own capacity. Her areas of expertise include violence against women and children, human rights and accountability, crime and violence prevention, and criminal justice reform. She has experience working with children, women, youth, LGBTIQ+ communities, government officials, judicial officers, police officials, local government practitioners, civil society organisations and grassroot community groups. She has worked through out South Africa and has in- country experience in Ghana, Kenya and Namibia.
